Chartering

ABNOUS KHARG long-established familiarity with Iranian Bulk & Tanker market combined with our close relationship with most of the international charterers, ship owners, brokers and cargo traders has placed us in an advantageous position to assist our valuable clients accommodate a suitable Bulk & Tanker vessel of any size to carry their products including Iron Ore, Crude Oils, liquid and Gas petrochemicals, Veg oil, etc…

Inward/Outward Clearance

Inward Clearance is an operation which should be performed for the vessels calling in Iranian Ports & terminals minimum 72 hours before arrival. To initiate inward clearance operations, application letters requesting “inward clearance” should be sent to Customs Guard Headquarter, Sea- Ports Branch Directorate, General Directorate of Health For Border and Coastal Areas.

Crew Change

With minimum 5 days notice in advance crew change can take place at berth, anchorage and Off Port Limits (OPL), and we collect the crew members from airport/vessel assisting them safely on board/departure. When necessary we also arrange suitable hotel accommodation / cars, service boat transportation / meals according to requirements.

Medical Services

ABNOUS KHARG Medical Service provides reliable, safe and efficient required services to all Crew members/vessels calling Iranian ports & terminals. We arrange pick up from/to the vessel, doctor visit, medicines & repatriation services if required in minimum possible time.

Documantary Services

ABNOUS KHARG Documentary Service provides BL, Cargo Manifest & Statement Of Facts issuance In all Iranian ports & terminals enabling our customers to manage their business in the smoothest possible manner.

Lavan Island

Location: Approx. 7 Miles off the mainland coast of Iran

Tides: In the range of 1 to 2.20 Meters.
Anchorage: About 2 miles east of the oil loading dock

Water depth adjacent to loading dock at low water is 28 meters and the Keel Clearance is 1 Meter.

Bandar Imam Khomeini

Position: Long 49-04’ E / Lat 30-25’ N
Admiralty chart: 1269
Distance from Tehran: 927 Km The Port is connected to Tehran and to other cities of the country by road, air and rail road.
Port capacities nominal: 28,000,000 Tons annual.
Pilotage is Compulsory. The service is managed by BIK port authorities from Khor Musa pilot station up to the Inner Anchorage by canal pilot, and thereafter by berthing master to the Jetty. At the time of unberthing/sailing, this procedure is carried out in reverse order.
Max Breadth: 42 Meters
Max Draft: 13 meters
Accommodation: Port is a land locked stream in which work can be carried out during all seasons and 24 Hours a day.
Quays and facilities for berthing vessels: Waterside platform is 7,000 meter long, capable of berthing totally 37 merchant vessels.
There are no LOA and Beam limitations for ocean-going vessels.
Drafts of jetties are variable between 27-46 feet.
Port Control: VHF on channels 13 & 16 (24 Hrs.)

Bandar Mahshahr

Position: Latitude 30O 28’ N / Longitude 49 O 11’ E
Admiralty Chart: 1269
Distance from BIK: 10.4 Km
Principal imports & exports: Oil products
Suppliers: National Iranian Oil Co. (NIOC)/ Petroleum Products and Marketing Operations.
Pilotage is compulsory and carried out from the outer bar to the inner anchorage by BIK pilots (Pilot Position: 29 O 59’N - 49O 04’E). After vessel’s arrival at BIK inner anchorage, NIOC berthing master boards the vessel in order to direct her to B.Mahshahr for berthing.
Max sailing draft: 12.50 Meters (Please note, this is the updated max draft at berth which has recently been increased by dredging)
Maximum LOA: 237 Meters.
Tides: Maximum tidal range is 3.5 Meters.
Storage: Shore storage is available for petroleum products.
Cranes: Available with 5-10 Tons capacity.

Bandar Abbas

Position: Latitude 27 11’ N / Longitude 56 16’ E

The 6500-meter approach channel has a width of 249 meters and a depth of 13.5 meters and is navigable for two ocean-going vessels at the same time.
There are 24 jetties at the port of Rajaee
- Berths 1 & 2 has max drafts of 11.20 meters and accommodates oil tankers.
- Berths 3 & 23 accommodates veg oil tankers with max drafts of 10.70 meters. Also, berth 24 with a max draft of 11.5 meters can accommodate vegoil tankers.
- Berths 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 accommodate container ships with max drafts of 12.2 meters.
- Berth 9 is reserved for small vessels & barges with max drafts of 5 meters.
- Berths 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14 service general cargo vessels with max drafts of 12 meters.
- Berths 15, 16, 17 & 18 service container & bulk cargo vessels with max drafts of 13.6 meters.
- Berths 19, 20, 21, 22 & 24 are set aside for general cargo ships with max drafts of 11.5 meters.
